Chinese Style Roast Pork

Perfect for a busy Monday night, this succulent, highly seasoned Chinese Style Roast Pork will please any family. Only 10 minutes of prep work the night before to marinate the pork tenderloin and about 30 minutes in the oven to cook it and you can have this lovely dinner on the table with ease. Pair it with a 2/3 cup of rice and a 1 cup serving of cooked vegetables and your meal is complete.
Chinese Style Roast Pork
Ingredients:
1 lb. pork tenderloin
2 Tbsp. Heinz Reduced Sugar Ketchup
1 Tbsp. rice wine vinegar
1 Tbsp. sesame oil
2 Tbsp. brown sugar substitute
2 Tbsp. reduced sodium soy sauce
1 Tbsp. dry sherry
1 tsp. garlic powder
1/4 tsp. Chinese Five-Spice powder
The night before:
Combine all ingredients, except the pork tenderloin, in a zipper top bag and shake well to blend. Add the tenderloin and marinate in the refrigerator overnight. Place the zipper bag into a container in case it leaks and on the bottom shelf of the refrigerator.
Preheat oven to 400'
Transfer pork tenderloin to a wire rack which as been placed in an oven proof baking dish. Roast for about 20 minutes and then reduce oven temperature to 350'. Continue to roast until the pork has reached an internal temperature of 160' and is no longer pink. Let rest covered for 10 minutes before slicing to serve.
